It may seem there’s no time to do everything on your long list of daily tasks. But one thing you should try to make time for is your skincare routine. It doesn’t have to be time-consuming, and with a few simple steps, you can get glowing, beautiful skin.

Step 1

Start your morning by washing your face with warm water and a good cleanser. Dry your face with a clean towel.

Step 2

Next, apply a toner, which helps remove excess oil and dead skin cells. A toner also preps the skin to better absorb ingredients from the next steps of your skincare routine. Spray your favorite toner directly onto skin or moisten a cotton round with toner and gently swipe across the face, including the neck area.

Step 3

Moisturize and protect! Use sunscreen, regardless of weather conditions. Just because it is cloudy outside, doesn’t mean the UV rays can’t reach your skin! Remember, the sun is the #1 cause of premature skin aging, and can also cause dark spots and skin discoloration. Some moisturizers do contain sunscreen, which saves you time and eliminates one step.

Step 4

If you use makeup, remove it before cleansing your skin. Just removing your makeup doesn’t count. You have to remove the makeup layer before being able to cleanse your skin. When you find out what products work for you, you can ultimately define your routine.  Adopting a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water are also significant steps.

Your Skin Will Thank You

There is nothing better than this 4 step routine  to get you skin looking fabulous. Exposure to UVA and UVB rays are responsible for the increase in the number of sebaceous glands which results in oily skin. And that can mean a higher incidence of acne.
